What Makes A Book "Anticipated"?

We all hear the words: Anticipated Books or Anticipated Titles. But what is it that makes those books so important to be wanted by the public. After scouring the web for articles, I came across this one which helped me reinforce my already settled thoughts. Check it out, and let's talk briefly what I see as the reason behind these choices.

First off, it really comes down to the popular authors at the moment.. or even classic authors who still write. It could be Rebecca Yarros, Ali Hazelwood, or even the King of Horror himself, Stephen King. We know that when someone becomes popular, it's very rare people stop talking about them, or using their products, in this case, buying and reading their books.

The other part is theme or genre. If you've seen any of our genre themed videos on YouTube, you'll know that even after decades, some genres and themes just stay popular... friends to lovers, found family are two themes and romance and fantasy are two genres.

So it's because these individuals do what they do in the way they do, that they become popular and anticipated. What do you think? Comment below!
