Animal Lead Books

How many books have you read where the main character (or characters) were animals. Homeward Bound comes to mind, as does White Fang, Animal Farm.. even Watership Down.

I haven't seen a lot of these kinds of books lately, and I think it's unfortunate. I found it charming and fun to have a non-human animal be the lead, as it gave a whole new perspective to the story and the life of those animals.

I mean, isn't it a little more fun to follow some dogs and a cat through a wildnerness adventure instead of a random person? Maybe it's just me.
