New Public Domain Books Have Arrived

This past January 1st, didn’t just ring in a new year, it also brought about new items that entered the Public Domain. You know, that group of things that you can sometimes use for your own work, because the copyright has expired. Today, lets share some of the books now in the Public Domain. The Internet Archive has the list of all of them here, including some non book related things.

Here is our list of personal favorites:

  1. “A Farewell to Arms” by Ernest Hemingway: The story about a love affair between an American ambulance driver and an English nurse during World War I

  2. “Toad of Toad Hall” by A.A. Milne: A theatrical version of the “Wind in the WIllows” written by the guy behind “Winnie The Pooh”

  3. “The Seven Dials Mystery” by Agatha Christie: One of her original stories that got many enamored with her

Which book on the list is your favorite? Do you share any from ours?
